There’s a small light of inspiration in each of us that determines the direction of our lives. Like a ship set out at sea we journey careening on the uncertain waves to a destination unknown. But facing each wave with the same braveness and vigor, dwindling sometimes, but regaining strength through each cascading tumult. every decision driving us farther from shore, farther from the place we know best. It takes courage to travel those waves, to embark from a home we know so well. A trifle of a shock to suddenly be engulfed in the¬†uncertainty of every direction. but you must find your compass and travel that direction. The ship sails into a blast of the sea and the direction changes ever so slightly. A new decision must be made. And you’re the one to make it. Be brave and face the giant ocean crashing in. You may fall, but there’s a lifesaver.

Like Peter, in the Gospel, lost at sea, our boat may get lost but with the Light of Christ will direct us to the truth. seek and you shall find. Knock and the door will be opened unto you.

Here are some quotes I found that might inspire your confidence:

“In the storms, winds, and waves, he whispers, “Fear not, I am with you.”

Courage

“A ship is always safe at shore, but that’s not what it was built for.”

-Albert Einstein
