Howdy all, coming to you live from the farm where the birds are chirping and the sun is glistening down over our apple orchards and hoop houses.
The sun is glistening through my window and an owl is sounding from down the hill.
My foot is a bit swollen and achy this morning but nevertheless it is a joyous day.
My fiancé is working for my family this summer as I’ll hammer away at my university courses and study for my drivers test. Urggh… Hopefully, I can get that under wraps before we head back to PA. That would help my fiancé be a little less stressed with all the driving.
The course I’m taking is Child Developmental Psychology. I’m a bit nervous about the outcome, honestly. Two semesters ago I failed this class, which dropped my GPA significantly. The outcome of my first attempt at this class plummeted my GPA to roundabouts 1.0. It was such a stressful time!
I was caught in between just moving to my new apartment, juggling a PT job at a daycare, and completing my classes. And I was diagnosed with anxiety (I thought this was a pretty normal thing but apparently my anxiety was high enough for a prescription medication) severe anemia–which sucks the energy outta ya like a fish on land. I was soo busy.
Now things have somewhat leveled out. I’m back to the farm. I’m only attending to my studies and my blog. It’s refreshing to hear the birds outside and see those beautiful Kansas sunsets in the evenings!
